Lunch Menu

Lunch Prices

School meals cost £2.40 per day.

This is £12.00 per week.

Payment for meals is required in advance.  Please pay termly, monthly or weekly wherever possible as it reduces administration time and cuts down on the number of queries. Your current balance will be shown on your ParentPay account and the cost of meals will only be deducted when your child places an order.

Free School Meal Entitlement

Please ask in confidence if you think you may be eligible for free school meals. We would encourage you to claim if you are entitled to as the school also benefits with extra funding for every child who claims.

For further information about whether you would be eligible for free school meals, and how to apply, please go to, or telephone 01926 742543.

Under the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme all children in Willow and Beech class are entitled to a free school meal every day.  As the mechanism for funding this is different to that for Free School Meals, we would encourage you to claim if you are entitled to as the school also benefits with extra funding for every child who claims to support their learning.

Lunch Menu

The new menu started on Monday 11th November.  Please see the attached document below for details.  Your child should have brought home a new menu leaflet for your reference at home.

Every day children can choose between a "red" meal or a "green" meal which they order at morning registration.  There is also the choice of a "yellow" jacket potato.  The jacket potato toppings menu is the same every week:

Monday - Cheese

Tuesday - Cheese and Beans

Wednesday - Cheese

Thursday - Tuna Mayonnaise

Friday - Cheese and Beans

From time to time there are special menus to celebrate events throughout the year such as Chinese New Year or World Ocean Day.  Details of these menu changes are published in advance in the school newsletter and on ClassDojo.

We have a Christmas Dinner every year with turkey and all the trimmings.  This is usually held on the second Thursday in December.  Christmas dinner is booked separately as we need to give the kitchen plenty of notice, so we send letters out during the autumn term for parents to book meals for their children.

Wholemeal bread and chilled water are available throughout lunch. Raisin and pumpkin seed pots are available everyday as an alternative dessert.

Fresh fruits and vegetables used are subject to seasonal variation.

For more information about school meals please go to

A vegetarian choice is not always shown on the menu. If your child requires this option please contact the school office in the first instance.

Please note that the menu may be altered from time to time - changes will be notified via the school newsletter and on ClassDojo; parents are advised to check with the school office if necessary.

All meals are served with either, a potato dish, rice, pasta or noodles and a selection of seasonal vegetables and salads.

(V) Fresh Fruit, (V) Muller Yoghurts or (V) Ambrosia Rice Pots are served each day as an alternative pudding.

A choice of milk drink or new Aqua Juice fruit cordial is served everyday as an alternative to chilled water.

A bread basket selection and chilled water are available throughout lunch. Tomato ketchup is available with selected dishes.

Meat and poultry products used on the menu are sourced from within the UK, with many coming from surrounding counties. All meet the 'Red Tractor Assured Food Standards' criteria.
